About the role
As the Executive Support Officer to the Chief Allied Health Practitioner (CAHP), you will play a pivotal role in supporting Allied Health leadership across Metro North Health. Acting as the primary point of contact for the Office of the CAHP, you will provide high-level executive support, strategic coordination and trusted advice within a fast-paced and energetic environment. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the Office of the CAHP through proactive diary and correspondence management, governance support, stakeholder engagement and the coordination of key strategic priorities.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: * Provide high level, consistent and timely skilled and confidential executive support and advice to the Chief Allied Health Practitioner (CAHP) in a complex, fast paced and sensitive working environment. * Coordinate and manage the workload priorities of the CAHP through diary and correspondence management including appropriate tracking and deadline monitoring systems,
exercising independent judgement when necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined * Manage and maintain effective records and knowledge management systems in alignment with Queensland Health Records Management Policy Standards and Procedures for the Office of the CAHP including efficient mail and document tracking. * Work closely with the CAHP to identify, develop and implement strategies which align with the operational and strategic needs of the office. * Be proactive and use discretion to resolve issues, particularly contentious, time-critical or confidential matters as required by the CAHP.
