Salary - $79,500 to $82,000 plus Super

Minimum requirement

- Minimum Diploma in relevant field
- Relevant experience of at least 1 year

Roles and Responsibilities

- Supervise the day-to-day activities and routines of residents within a group residential accommodation setting.
- Support the smooth operation of the residence by coordinating daily schedules, communal routines and organised activities.
- Organise and facilitate group recreational, social and leisure activities to encourage resident participation and interaction.
- Assist residents to participate in group programs, community events, outings and recreational activities.
- Coordinate shared mealtimes, including basic meal preparation, food service and maintaining orderly dining areas.
- Monitor the general residential setting and report maintenance,



safety or facility-related issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Provide practical assistance to residents with routine accommodation-related matters and activities within the residential environment.
- Encourage positive interaction, cooperation and participation among residents within the group living environment.
- Maintain accurate daily records relating to resident activities, attendance, incidents and general residential matters.
- Communicate with supervisors and other residential staff regarding daily routines, activities, operational matters and issues arising within the residence.
- Follow workplace procedures relating to health and safety, emergency management, privacy, confidentiality and the effective operation of the residential facility.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a group residential environment.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate and facilitate group activities.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and daily documentation.
- Ability to follow workplace policies, procedures and safety requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple routine tasks within a residential environment.
