The role works across technology based projects for the Technology & Innovation (T&I;) business unit. Working across the company and external partners, the role is responsible for ensuring that technical and business requirements are understood and prioritised as agreed by project stakeholders. The role will work on projects as directed in accordance with AAL's Project Management Framework.Business Analysis
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensure that technical and business requirements are clearly documented, understood and agreed;
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and discussions with stakeholders and third parties to elicit requirements;
- Document project requirements and ensure that there is buy in and sign off on the end-to-end set of requirements;
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that requirements are appropriately rated and prioritised;
- Document as is, and to be processes and standards;
- Develop detailed technical and non-technical specifications to align with project and organisational goals;
- Translate business needs into technical solutions in conjunction with IT teams;
- Identify opportunities for process and technical improvement and innovation;
- Analyse data, conduct feasibility studies, and present findings to support decision-making processes;
- Develop test strategies and scenarios in line with project requirements and ensure that proposals and identified deliverables meet business needs;
- Produce and maintain key business analysis documentation and artefacts including regular activity status reports;
- Work with business process owners to identify the benefits to be achieved through the new and improved process(es) in the project.
Team
- - Identify changes to requirements and work with project managers and technical teams to complete an impact analysis;
- On bigger projects,
assess the requirements and deliverables expected from AAL versus those that are required form third party contractors;
- Support the business and project managers with queries during and after go-live;
- Provide training to users as required;

Qualifications
Desirable
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business or a related discipline.
Experience
Essential
- Hands-on experience in technical business analysis;
- Experience in working on multiple projects at a time;
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders on a single project;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience;
- Development of training and change management support materials;
Desirable
- Information Technology expertise;
- Airport specific technology (aeronautical and/or Landside) knowledge;
- Working within complex teams and across business units;
- Understanding of technology project lifecycles (e.g. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative);
- Working on projects with a strong business / commercial focus;
- Team building expertise;
