Role Description The Podiatrist will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of foot and lower limb conditions in an on-site clinical setting in Glenroy, VIC. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering general foot care, neurovascular assessments, biomechanical and gait assessments, prescribing and managing orthotic interventions, and sports podiatry treatments. The role involves managing patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, developing individualised treatment plans,
and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
The Podiatrist will collaborate with the clinic team to ensure continuity of care, educate patients on prevention and self-management, and contribute to a supportive, patient-focused environment. This is a full-time, on-site role.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in Podiatry and Medicine relevant to foot and lower limb health.
- Experience in prescribing and managing Orthotics and related offloading interventions.
- Competence in managing foot complications associated with Diabetes and other chronic conditions.
- Recognised degree in Podiatry and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small clinical team and manage a varied caseload independently.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice; prior experience in private practice or sports podiatry is advantageous.
