Oxworks iis Australia’s largest privately owned manufacturer and distributor of quality fencing products with over 300 staff across 22 locations nationally. Operating for over 20 years, we continue to be a market leader in the industry. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Wangara Powdercoating Team.
This position requires a minimum of 38 hours per week, plus overtime as required.
The Role:
Reporting to the Powdercoating Team Leader, the Powdercoater’s primary focus is to:
- Complete the various day-to-day activities of the Powdercoating department focusing on producing high quality finished product in a productive, efficient and safe manner
- Achieve 100% DIFOT whilst minimising unnecessary reworks
- Improve efficiency and reduce operating costs through accountability to standard operating procedures
- Provide coaching and training to new team members as requested by the Team Leader
- Promote teamwork between the manufacturing departments to ensure all are working to a common goal of exceeding customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements in the area of Safety
- Ensure Powdercoating is compliant with Company policies and procedures at all times
- Execute directives that support the business strategy
