This will be a full-time role commencing in January 2027.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our Primary School as Academic Care Coordinator.

As a key middle leadership position, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic progress, wellbeing and success of students across a designated year level, providing both strategic and operational leadership within the Primary School.

As a member of the Primary Middle Leaders Team, you will work alongside colleagues to deliver high-quality learning and wellbeing outcomes, support staff capability, and contribute to the achievement of the College's strategic priorities and educational vision.

This role combines leadership, coaching and student advocacy, with a strong focus on collaboration, continuous improvement and professional accountability.

Academic Care Coordinators are classroom teachers, who attract a 'Position of Added Responsibility (PAR)' Allowance plus additional programmed preparation and correction time to support their leadership responsibilities under our enterprise agreement.

This engagement provides an excellent opportunity for an aspiring or emerging middle leader to develop their leadership capability while making a meaningful impact on student wellbeing, learning and engagement within a supportive and collaborative Primary School environment.

- Student-centred, inclusive and culturally responsive leadership. Demonstrated commitment to high expectations for student learning and wellbeing, inclusive and culturally responsive practice, and the creation of safe, supportive environments in which diversity is valued, and all students can succeed.
- Effective organisational leadership and management. Demonstrated ability to translate strategic priorities into effective action through planning, clear expectations, appropriate delegation, consistent implementation of policies and processes, and the fair and responsible management of people, time and resources.
