$75,000 to $80,000 base salary + superannuation

Your new position As the Production Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Reviewing production functions, responsibilities and workflows to identify inefficiencies and duplication.
- Analysing production demand, workforce utilisation, capacity, inventory, material availability, schedules and costs to optimise labour and equipment efficiency.
- Developing production planning and work measurement methods, including production standards, stock requirements, production quantities, lead times and capacity requirements.
- Analysing manufacturing processes, workflows, facility layouts, material flows and resource utilisation to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Designing and improving manufacturing equipment, components, production processes and plant systems.
- Developing and maintaining manufacturing specifications and Bills of Materials, including material, equipment, capacity, flow and layout requirements.
- Coordinating labour, materials, plant and equipment for production activities and manufacturing projects.
- Developing engineering standards and procedures for equipment installation and modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance.




- Conducting inspections and analysing equipment performance to identify faults and maintain operational efficiency.
- Coordinating equipment maintenance, design modifications, technical assessments and maintenance schedules.
- Developing analytical systems using Business Central, Power BI and other tools to monitor production, capacity, inventory and resource utilisation.

To be considered for this role you must have:

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Industrial, Manufacturing or Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with sound knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes and material requirements.
- Experience with production planning and manufacturing systems, including Bills of Materials, production orders, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse production, inventory and operational data and identify opportunities to improve productivity.
- Experience using ERP and reporting systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI, together with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Highly motivated with excellent planning, organisational and time-management skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
