About this Opportunity:
Production & Critical Path Management
- Maintain and update the Production Tracker daily, ensuring all data is accurate and aligned with critical path timelines.
- Raise and issue purchase orders (POs) to suppliers based on final buy plans.
- Generate and distribute barcode reports across retail, online, and wholesale channels.
- Complete data entry across all internal systems and update POs and trackers with accurate costing, delivery dates, and item details.
- Cross-check data between merchandising files, system entries, and trackers to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely submission of all samples and to monitor production status.
- Communicate timelines, priorities, and changes to offshore suppliers.
- Request, track, and record bulk fabric and trim approvals.
- Confirm and communicate PO details with suppliers, including size breaks, colourways, and any special requirements.
- Support troubleshooting of production issues, delays, material challenges, and quality concerns.
- Track handover dates to freight forwarders and update seasonal shipping schedules (AIR/SEA), including ETDs and ETAs.
- Assist with resolving shortages, overages, and delivery discrepancies.
- Track required shipment samples prior to dispatch.
- Support onboarding of new suppliers by setting up templates, trackers, PO formats, and workflow documentation.
- Provide clear communication to suppliers regarding process expectations and deadlines.
- Processing of ad hoc production tasks and invoices
Sample Management & Workflow
- Track all incoming and outgoing parcels and log them accurately.
- Book DHL shipments for suppliers and ensure urgent samples are correctly flagged.
- Follow up sample ETAs regularly and maintain clear sample status visibility across all categories.
- Prepare and organise samples for fittings, meetings, and seasonal reviews.
- Mark off styles and update tracker comments as samples are approved.
- Assist with runway/marketing sample coordination when required.
- Support maintenance and organisation of the sample room and seasonal sample storage.
Garment Tech & Production Support
- Attend production fit sessions to monitor progress, note changes, and flag any concerns impacting the critical path (late styles, redo requirements, fit issues, trim delays, etc.).
- Update trackers post-fitting with comments, changes, and approval status.
- Provide weekly workflow updates during Production x Garment Tech meetings, outlining priorities, risks, and sample progress.
- Track PP, size sets, and shipment sample approvals to ensure they are completed within acceptable timeframes.
- Flag any sample or production-related issues that may impact bulk delivery.
Logistics
- Liaise with Logistics on goods handed over to Freight Forwarder for movement to selected warehouse.
- Plan and communicate each season’s schedule for SEA and AIR.
- In conjunction with logistics resolve any unforeseen overages or shortages on stock delivered from suppliers
You will bring:
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience in Production, Development, or a related fashion role
- Robust proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, and Google Drive
- Thorough understanding of aspects of the design and product development process
- Proactive interest in keeping at the forefront of the industry and bringing in best practice initiatives.
- Strong communication skills across internal teams and offshore suppliers
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to react quickly to feedback and adjust planning and designs accordingly.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across overlapping seasons
- Highly organised individual with Impeccable follow-up and precise attention to detail
- Self-motivation, problem-solving and critical thinking
- Adapts well to change and can take a flexible approach
- Ability to manage multiple/competing priorities and timelines with adherence to the critical path
