ABOUT THE ROLE
Backam Group is currently seeking an experienced Production Operator to join a reputable food manufacturing business based in Huntingwood, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role within a reliable production environment. You will be responsible for accurately measuring, batching, blending and mixing raw ingredients while maintaining strict quality and food safety standards.
? Location: Huntingwood, NSW
? Pay Rate: $34.50 per hour + Super
⏰ Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
? Position: Ongoing / Long Term Opportunity
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Measuring and weighing raw materials to precise specifications
- Preparing batches according to production schedules and recipes
- Mixing and blending ingredients safely and efficiently
- Completing production documentation accurately
- Monitoring product quality throughout the batching process
- Following GMP, HACCP and food safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Handling and storing raw materials in accordance with company procedures
- Working safely within production and warehouse environments
ABOUT YOU
You are a reliable and detail-oriented production professional who understands the importance of accuracy, consistency and quality. To be considered, you should have:
✔ Previous experience in batching, blending, compounding or mixing environments
✔ Food manufacturing experience highly regarded
✔ Experience working within pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics or similar production environments considered
✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✔ Good mathematical and numeracy skills
✔ Ability to accurately measure and calculate quantities
✔ Understanding of Dangerous Goods (DG) handling advantageous
✔ Ability to follow recipes, specifications and work instructions
✔ Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
✔ Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
