ABOUT THE ROLE

Backam Group is currently seeking an experienced Production Operator for an ongoing opportunity with a leading chemical manufacturing and distribution company based in Girraween, NSW. This is a hands-on role working within a busy production environment, assisting with chemical batching, forklift operation, stock control, and warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will commence through Backam Group with the opportunity to secure permanent employment with the client.

⏰ Hours: Monday - Friday | Dayshift

? Pay Rate: $37.00 per hour casual

? Start: ASAP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Picking raw materials for chemical batch production
- Mixing chemical blends to specified formulas and concentrations
- Pumping liquids and dissolving powders into solutions
- Filling and packaging chemical products ranging from 5L to 1,000L
- Counterbalance forklift operation
- Receiving and dispatching stock
- Inventory control and stock movements
- Manual handling and lifting of 25kg bags




- Completing production paperwork and batch records
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised production environment

ABOUT YOU

You are a hands-on and reliable warehouse or production operator looking for a long-term opportunity within manufacturing. To be successful, you will have:

✅ Current LF Forklift Licence

✅ Previous Production, or Manufacturing experience

✅ Counterbalance forklift experience

✅ Physically fit and capable of lifting 25kg bags regularly

✅ Excellent attention to detail and paperwork accuracy

✅ Robust commitment to workplace safety

✅ Reliable transport and punctual attendance

✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills

Highly Regarded:

- Previous chemical manufacturing experience
- Experience batching chemical products
- Understanding of hazardous substances and chemical handling
