About the Role

We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Commercial Services team and take a hands-on role in coordinating day-to-day production activities.

You’ll be responsible for keeping production running safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while providing practical leadership, coaching and support to employees in the workplace.

Working closely with the Production Team Leader, you’ll balance operational performance, customer requirements, quality and employee development to achieve excellent outcomes for both our customers and our workforce.

What You'll Do

- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet customer and operational requirements.
- Allocate work tasks based on employee skills, abilities and development goals.
- Monitor workflow, productivity, quality and production deadlines.
- Provide daily supervision, coaching, mentoring and practical instruction.
- Support employees to develop workplace skills, confidence and independence.
- Assist with stock control, material handling, inventory management and workplace organisation.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and workplace outcomes.
- Maintain accurate production, workplace and compliance records.
- Promote and maintain a safe,



inclusive and respectful workplace.
- Conduct routine workplace inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Report and respond appropriately to hazards, incidents and workplace concerns.
- Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Contribute to positive customer relationships and service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with the Production Team Leader and broader team to achieve operational and employment outcomes.

About You You’re a practical and organised leader who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems and keeping a team focused on getting the job done.

You’ll bring a people-first leadership approach, with the ability to provide clear direction, give constructive feedback and adapt your communication to different individuals and situations.

You’ll be someone who can confidently balance competing priorities, maintain quality and safety standards, and create a positive and productive workplace.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Experience supervising or leading employees in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, logistics, recycling or similar environment.
- Experience supporting people with disability in a workplace setting.
- Strong communication, coaching and interpersonal skills.




- A sound understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Solid organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and keep production moving.
- Competent computer skills and experience maintaining workplace records.
- A Certificate III or higher in Disability, Community Services, Manufacturing, Operations, Leadership or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in an Australian Disability Enterprise or supported employment environment, knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, a Forklift Licence, First Aid certification or experience with Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to have:

- NDIS Worker Check.
- National Police Certificate.
- Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Willingness to undertake regional travel where required.
- Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours work where required.
