Position Description
- Full time fixed term contract until 30 June 2027
- ASO8 salary range $130,046 - $134,956 p.a. + super
- Based at Regency campus / Kaurna Country
The Opportunity TAFE SA is seeking a Project Manager to lead key strategic training delivery projects supporting South Australia’s industrial capability through the development of a skilled and experienced defence industry workforce.
As Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of complex defence projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and within budget. You'll oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to delivery and close-out, while providing explicit leadership, governance, stakeholder engagement, and project performance reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- Lead complex, high-profile defence projects, delivering outcomes on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
- Inspire and manage multidisciplinary teams, balancing competing priorities while driving project success
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, influencing outcomes and resolving complex challenges
- Develop and implement project strategies, business cases, plans, and governance frameworks that support organisational objectives
- Apply modern project management, risk, procurement, and quality assurance practices to achieve exceptional results
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance
