Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, this full-time Project Manager role is based in our Glen Waverley office in Victoria. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the successful delivery of complex engineering projects from initiation through to completion for transport and field service activities.
What you'll be doing
- Developing detailed project plans, budgets and resource allocations to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Coordinating and managing cross-functional teams to execute projects efficiently and effectively
- Monitoring project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and communicating status updates to stakeholders
- Ensuring projects comply with relevant engineering standards, regulations and quality requirements
- Fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and ensuring information is communicated accurately and frequently
- Continuously identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes
What we're looking for
- 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager in an engineering or technical environment
- Demonstrated project management expertise, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects
- Strong technical understanding of engineering principles and ability to interpret technical requirements
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Proficient in the use of project management tools and software
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline
- PMP or Prince2 certification is highly regarded
