We are seeking an experienced Property Services Manager to lead our Property Services function during a period of parental leave (12 months).
This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role, taking responsibility for an established team and diverse property portfolio. You'll work across people leadership, property operations, contractors, budgets and compliance, making an immediate contribution to the quality and performance of our services.

About the Role
This is a key leadership role responsible for the effective delivery and management of property services across the portfolio. You’ll lead a team and work closely with contractors, suppliers, internal stakeholders and government partners to ensure properties are well maintained, compliant, safe and customer focused.
You’ll oversee team performance, budgets, contractors, maintenance programs and compliance, while building strong stakeholder relationships, achieving value for money and driving continuous improvement across Property Services.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading the Property Services team and daily operational activities.
- Managing budgets, expenditure and procurement.
- Overseeing contractors, suppliers and tender processes.
- Ensuring legislative, statutory, building and WHS compliance.
- Monitoring KPIs, reporting and portfolio performance.
- Maintaining effective asset management systems.
- Delivering a strong customer service focus and positive tenancy outcomes.
- Building effective internal and external partnerships.
- Promoting continuous improvement, safety and wellbeing.
About You
You’re an experienced property or facilities professional who can hit the ground running. You’ll be confident leading people, managing contractors and budgets, navigating compliance requirements and making sound decisions in a busy operational environment.
You’ll bring strong commercial and property expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to quickly build trust with customers, colleagues, contractors and stakeholders.
Most importantly, you’re a practical, collaborative and solutions-focused leader who can take ownership, maintain momentum and deliver positive outcomes from day one.
You will bring
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading, mentoring and developing teams in an outcomes-focused environment.
- Property or facilities management experience, with sound knowledge of building maintenance and the ability to effectively manage trades and contractors.
- Strong financial acumen, including the ability to interpret management accounts, monitor budgets and make informed commercial decisions.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
with a customer-focused approach and the confidence to manage challenging situations and resolve conflicts.
- Knowledge of building compliance and safety requirements, including the Building Code of Australia and relevant Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
- Experience with strata and leased property arrangements, including an understanding of relevant contracts and obligations.
- Valuable technology skills, including Microsoft Office and property/asset management databases.
- A collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, trades and contractors.
- Relevant property, building, construction or trade experience will be highly regarded.
Essential requirements
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Current WA Driver’s Licence.
