Part-time contractor position, two to three days per week

ABOUT THE POSITION
Mindkit Psychology is seeking up to two Clinical or Registered Psychologists to provide psychological therapy to predominantly neurodivergent adults.
This is primarily a therapy position. Autism and ADHD assessment work is optional and is not required for appointment. Training, supervision and practice-development support are available for clinicians who would like to develop or extend their assessment practice.
The available consulting days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with a minimum commitment of two days per week. Regular in-person availability at our Brunswick East practice is preferred, alongside telehealth appointments.
Once the caseload is established, clinicians generally provide approximately five to six appointments per consulting day. Caseloads are built gradually over approximately the first two months through Mindkit’s established referral streams and transferred clients.

Mindkit is a neurodivergent-led private psychology practice providing therapy, Autism and ADHD assessment, coaching and practical support.
Our clients include Autistic, ADHD and AuDHD (Autistic and ADHD) adults, as well as people with other neurotypes and co-occurring psychological difficulties.
WHAT MINDKIT PROVIDES
- Administrative management of bookings, billing, enquiries and referral allocation
- Support with caseload development
- Clinical-assistant support with correspondence and document preparation
- Practice systems and clinical documentation tools
- Fortnightly practice consultation and collaborative case discussion
- Optional Autism and ADHD assessment training
ABOUT YOU
Applicants must have
- General registration as a psychologist with Ahpra
- Eligibility to obtain or maintain a Medicare provider number
- Experience providing psychological therapy to adults
- Experience providing trauma-informed care
- A commitment to strengths-based, non-pathologising and neurodiversity-affirming practice
- The right to work in Australia
- An ABN, or the capacity to obtain one
- Appropriate skilled indemnity insurance
Experience working with neurodivergent adults, EMDR, parts-informed approaches, complex trauma, dissociation, eating difficulties, NDIS participants or Autism and ADHD assessment is highly regarded. NEURODIVERGENT-LED PRACTICE
