Newtons Building & Landscape Supplies is one of South Australia’s largest and most respected family-owned companies, recognised as an industry leader in building, landscape and trade supplies.
We are currently seeking an organised and proactive Purchasing / Procurement Officer to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, placing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, monitoring pricing and availability, and ensuring stock and procurement requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing purchase orders and supplier communication
- Sourcing products, materials and pricing
- Monitoring stock levels and delivery timeframes
- Assisting with supplier negotiations and cost control
- Working closely with internal teams to support operational requirements
About you:
You will have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory control or supplier management will be highly regarded.
