This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has strong practical horticultural skills and enjoys working to a high standard. You will be working across a range of established, high-end residential gardens, carrying out regular maintenance and helping to ensure each property is presented at its best. Working as part of a team of two, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality garden maintenance while working alongside and supporting apprentices at varying stages of their training.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills by supporting and guiding apprentices within your team, while continuing to build your own horticultural knowledge and experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality garden maintenance across high-end residential gardens
- Carry out regular maintenance including pruning, hedging, plant care, weeding, fertilising and lawn care
- Ensure each property is presented at its best
- Work as part of a team of two
- Support and guide apprentices at varying stages of their training
- Develop leadership skills while continuing to build horticultural knowledge and experience
About you
- Cert II or Cert III in Parks & Gardens, Horticulture or Arboriculture
- Trade qualified or a minimum 5 years' residential garden maintenance experience
- Proven experience across all aspects of high-end residential garden maintenance
- Strong practical horticulture, arboriculture or lawn care knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team
- Qualified presentation and a positive, reliable attitude
- Valuable communication skills and the ability to work effectively alongside apprentices
- Current Driver's Licence — manual preferred
