About the role

- Provide support to the Practice Medical Team.

- Provide direct care to patients.

- Contribute to collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required.

- Communicate effectively with patients and other health care team members.

- Immunization provision

- Venepuncture

- Wound management

- ECG + Spirometry

- Conducting Health assessment

- Care plan co-ordination

Skills and experience

Desirable

- Valuable critical thinking attributes.

- Good Judgement and Decision making attributes.

- Previous monitoring /coordinating roles.

- Great communication skills.

- Experience or interest in patient education.

- Triage skills.

- Experience in, or interest in, community-based nursing

- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

- Experience or interest in patient education

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $31.00 – $33.00 per hour

Experience

- Registered nurse: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification

- AHPRA registration (Preferred)

- CPR Certification (Preferred)
