We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Bruce ACT.

Scope:
- Provide a link between services, patients and the general practitioner by coordinating patient services
- Proven track record in improving clinical outcomes with your advanced knowledge specifically in regards to CDM/veteran affairs and Recall/ reminder systems
- Assist the general practice to improve the health outcomes of its patients by implementing, developing and providing clinical support
- Ensure standards and legislative requirements are met and maintained whilst managing the clinical workplace
- Proficient in performing the clinical duties required within a General Practice setting
- Previous management experience in a general practice setting:
managing the team as well as Performance & Development processes.
Essentials:
- Current unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Prior experience working in a general practice setting
- Understanding of cold chain processes
- Experience with managing clinical stock and stock ordering
- Understanding of the importance and functionality of recall processes in a general practice setting.
- Demonstrates advanced communication and interpersonal skills to establish therapeutic relationships with patients and facilitate effective collaboration within the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Desirable Characteristics:
- Knowledge and/or experience in wound management, childhood immunisations and the National Immunisation Program, chronic disease management including health assessments and care plans, assisting with minor procedures, recalls and reviews, Best Practice software, travel vaccinations, ECG/ABI assessment, and spirometry.
