Practice Nurse: Midland Medicare Urgent Care Clinic and North Street Medical Centre

North Street Medical Centre is looking for a Registered Nurses to join work in our GP treatment room and Urgent Care Clinic in a part-time role.

Our practice has extended hours of operation and is open 7 days per week.

We currently have two positions available:

- Urgent Care Clinic: Tuesdays and Fridays 2pm - 9pm; with flexibility to pick up additional shifts
- Practice Nurse/Care Plan Nurse - 3 - 4 days per week

About the Roles You will play a key role in our contemporary, well-established practice, providing essential support to our general practitioners and patients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Performing patient triage.
- Assisting GPs with minor surgical procedures, emergencies, and injury management.
- Developing and contributing to Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Assessments.
- Providing comprehensive patient education and support.
- Ensuring the treatment room is well-organised and managing patient flow efficiently.




- Controlling and managing medical stock levels.

What We're Looking For

- Current and unrestricted AHPRA nursing registration.
- Experience with a wide range of clinical presentations including acute injuries and non life-threatening illnesses.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with clinical and scheduling software.
- A positive, proactive attitude.

Highly Regarded:

- Previous experience in an accredited general practice or Medicare Urgent Care Clinic
- Experience using Best Practice software.
- Experience in care planning / chronic disease management
