About Our Client
Our client is LGC Group, comprising of three main business units, Traffic Management, Equipment Hire; and Rail Services. They are a rapidly growing business servicing large scale projects across WA.
Job Description
- Develop and implement HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ performance metrics to senior management.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of relevant compliance documentation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HSEQ Leader should have:
- Robust knowledge of health, safety, environment, and quality standards within the construction sector.
- Experience in developing and implementing HSEQ policies and procedures.
- Experience with leading and contributing to ISO accreditation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with teams and stakeholders.
- A strong drive to build culture and create capability across the organisation.
- A relevant qualification in occupational health and safety or a related field.
- Ability to stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
