Civil Supervisor — Subdivisions & Medium Density

The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established Victorian civil contractor with over 45 years' industry experience, is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee on-site delivery across their subdivision and medium density project portfolio. With a strong pipeline of estate-scale residential and industrial subdivision works across Melbourne's South East and Gippsland, this is a hands-on role for someone who thrives running crews and keeping sites moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site activities across subdivisional roadworks, kerbing and concrete paving, stormwater drainage, earthworks and underground services
- Manage in office crews, subcontractors and plant to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to program
- Conduct daily site inspections, toolbox talks and quality checks
- Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers and clients on day-to-day site matters
- Ensure compliance with safety,
environmental and quality requirements on site
- Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics
About You
- Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor within subdivisional and/or medium density residential or industrial developments
- Strong hands-on knowledge of roadworks, drainage, earthworks and civil construction methods
- Confident managing crews and subcontractors on site
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Victorian civil construction industry experience highly regarded
