An exciting opportunity waits for a Psychologist to join our Sub-Acute Psychologist team within Geriatric Evaluation Management.

The Role

As a Psychologist you will ensure delivery of a high quality, culturally appropriate and evidence based psychological inpatient service as part of a multi-disciplinary team within sub-acute services.

You’ll be supported by a collaborative team of senior clinicians and management, ensuring you have the resources and mentorship to thrive in your role.

About you

To be successful, applicants will have to:

- Have relevant qualifications in psychology that meets unconditional registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Provide evidence based psychological services to clients within a multidisciplinary framework
- Provide supervision and/or support to students and relevant staff.
- Manage a caseload in a timely manner and re-prioritise tasks to ensure timelines are met.
- Participate in quality improvement and service development activities at a local or regional level to ensure contemporary psychological services to meet patient outcomes.




- Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary team leadership practices and role modelling behaviour in accordance with TEHS cultural charter
