Oz Proud Constructions are looking for an experienced Mechanic to manage and maintain our fleet at our sandstone quarry. Your key objective will be to ensure all equipment and vehicles are well maintained and operating properly at all times. To this end you will perform scheduled services, breakdown and preventative maintenance as required. You may be required to drive or operate the equipment from time to time.

The successful applicant with be trade qualified mechanic with white card to attend construction sites. They will be able to describe and demonstrate troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventive maintenance skills.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and testing procedures

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections and fluid top-ups





• Repair and replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems and braking systems

• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

Other duties as directed by the Site Manager.
