The Role
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will take ownership of clinical operations, leading care delivery, compliance and quality across the home.
You’ll be responsible for driving performance across:
- Clinical leadership of Registered Nurses and care teams
- AN-ACC optimisation, funding and documentation accuracy
- Accreditation readiness and quality standards
- Clinical governance, audits and compliance frameworks
- Medication management and infection prevention & control
- Incident management, risk and continuous improvement
- Care planning, assessments and case management
- Family engagement and clinical communication
- Supporting the Facility Manager when required
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will influence both clinical outcomes and team performance.
About You
You will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong experience in residential aged care
- Proven knowledge of AN-ACC funding and accreditation
- Background in clinical audits, compliance and quality improvement
- Confidence leading, mentoring and developing nursing teams
- Strong documentation and electronic care system skills
- Solid clinical capability across wound care, palliative care and chronic disease
