Our client in the information technology sector is seeking an Automation Tester to support end-to-end user acceptance testing activities in Brisbane, Queensland. The role focuses on structured test execution within defined frameworks, contributing to the validation of business-critical applications. The successful candidate will work within existing processes and documentation standards, following established test plans and reporting structures. This position is suited to a candidate with a Bachelor-level education who is looking to apply testing knowledge in a controlled and methodical setting. The Automation Tester will collaborate with other team members, working on clearly defined tasks aligned to project objectives.

Responsibilities

- Execute defined end-to-end user acceptance test cases according to established test plans and schedules.
- Document test results clearly and accurately, following existing templates and reporting guidelines.
- Identify defects encountered during user acceptance testing and record them using agreed processes.
- Collaborate with team members to clarify test scenarios, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
- Follow existing automation testing procedures to run predefined test scripts where required.
