Hi there! We’re so thrilled you’ve landed here. We’re birdsnest, a busy online retail store in Cooma, NSW, but we like to think of ourselves as ‘Wardrobe Wingbirds.’ Our mission is easy: helping people find outfits that make them feel amazing, inside and out.

With over 100 talented people across 14 different teams—from Fashion Buying to Tech—we’ve built a vibrant community right here in the Snowy Mountains. Now, we’re looking for a fresh face to join our nest!

We’re on the hunt for our next ‘Trainee’ to join the Marketing & Styling Team in 2027. This isn’t just a job; it’s a 12-month journey designed to challenge, surprise, and inspire you as you figure out your next big step.

Here is how your year as a bird will look:

Part 1: Your Dual-Focus Learning Journey

This is hands-on learning at its best. You’ll split your time between two creative powerhouses: Marketing and Styling. One day you might be helping drive digital campaigns and creating viral-worthy social media content; the next, you’ll be in the studio as a key assistant on photo shoots, learning the art of outfit creation and how to write engaging blurbs for our site.

Whether you’re into photography, copywriting, or digital strategy, this rotation gives you a front-row seat to the world of online fashion retail.

Part 2: Level Up with TAFE

Get qualified while you work! Half a day each week is set aside for you to study at the TAFE Cooma Campus. By the end of 2027,



you’ll have earned your Certificate III in Business. It’s a nationally accredited foundation that looks great on a resume, no matter where your career takes you next.

Part 3: The Heart of the Nest: Dispatch

Every Monday, you’ll join the Dispatch team to see where the magic happens. You’ll help pick and pack orders, ensuring every customer gets exactly what they wished for. Plus, you’ll get to add that personal touch with hand-written notes—it’s the ultimate way to learn what our community loves!

Part 4: The Fun Stuff (Our Favorite Part!)

Life as a ‘Nester’ comes with some pretty sweet perks. Think birthday bake-offs, team lunches, and tree-planting days. You’ll also get team discounts across the entire birdsnest range and access to inspiring guest speakers. It’s about more than work; it’s about being part of a community
