ESI Tech Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Service Technician (EEHA) to join our team.

This role offers the opportunity to work across Oil & Gas, Defence, Mining & Resources and Industrial sectors, supporting hazardous area inspection, compliance, maintenance and remediation activities for a diverse range of clients.

We welcome applications from experienced EEHA Inspectors, as well as technically capable industrial electricians and service technicians looking to further develop their expertise within hazardous areas.

About the Role

As part of ESI's EEHA team, you will contribute to hazardous area inspection, compliance, maintenance and remediation activities across a broad range of client sites and assets.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Hazardous Area inspections and compliance activities

- Inspection reporting and documentation

- Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting

- Identification and development of remediation solutions

- Execution of remedial and upgrade works

- Review of inspection findings and quality assurance activities

- Client liaison and technical support

- Assisting with project planning and delivery

- Maintaining compliance with applicable standards and site requirements

The role provides exposure to a broad range of field and office-based activities, creating opportunities to further develop both practical and technical skills while working alongside experienced EEHA and industrial service professionals.

While the position is primarily Perth metro based, opportunities exist to support remote site and offshore maintenance,



compliance and project activities across a range of industries.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking individuals who bring a strong technical foundation, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn and contribute.

Essential

- WA Electrical Licence

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Fault-finding and troubleshooting ability

- Experience within industrial environments

- Strong communication and reporting skills

- Attention to detail

- Commitment to safety and quality outcomes

Highly Regarded

- EEHA qualifications and/or IECEx CoPC

- Cert III or IV Instrumentation qualification

- Hazardous Area inspection experience

- EEHA remediation or hazardous area project experience

- Oil & Gas industry experience

- Industrial maintenance and service experience

- Instrumentation experience

- Experience interpreting technical drawings and standards

- Experience preparing technical reports and documentation
