Permanent | Part-time | 40 hours per fortnight

Rostered hours will align with the current sports program schedule on Friday mornings and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, with future programming extending to Thursday evenings.

$65,632 (pro rata per annum)

Under the City of Kwinana's structured remuneration system, this position is classified as a PACS Recreational Band 1.

What's On Offer!
An opportunity is now open for a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Supervisor to join the team at the City of Kwinana’s recreation centre (the Recquatic).

As the Sports Supervisor, you will oversee the delivery of all current team sport competitions, and future programme delivery. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for ensuring the competitions are delivered safely and professionally while providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. You will work closely with the Stadium and Facility Bookings Team Leader, umpires and players.

Key duties include responding to customer complaints, completing safety audits on playing surfaces, rostering of umpires, updating of fixtures and ladders, assisting with umpiring and liaising with umpires, team and players to resolve issues in a professional manner.

What You Will Need

- Experience in a similar role.
- Extensive experience in umpiring/refereeing.
- Knowledge of competition rules and ability to interpret for a variety of sports (Netball Highly desirable)
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills especially conflict resolution/negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of participant engagement and customer service strategies.
- Highly effective time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Certification in umpiring/refereeing.
- Provide First Aid, Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
