About the role

Burrows Jewellers is seeking a highly organised, technology-minded person to join our established fine jewellery business in a newly created role. This position combines customer order management, digital operations, ecommerce and systems improvement. Its primary responsibility is coordinating the customer journey for our Custom Made and Bespoke jewellery orders, both in-store and online. The successful applicant will work closely with our Senior Sales Qualified, business owner, remote systems support and external specialists. Over time, they will assume greater ownership of the systems, customer journeys and day-to-day processes supporting this area of the business.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate Custom Made and Bespoke orders from initial enquiry through to completion
- Maintain clear and timely communication with customers throughout their journey
- Coordinate consultations, quotations, design approvals, deposits, sourcing, production and delivery
- Liaise with designers, jewellers, suppliers and production partners
- Maintain accurate order records, timelines, customer information and supporting documentation
- Monitor outstanding actions and proactively follow up customers, suppliers and production partners
- Help implement and maintain the processes supporting high-value online enquiries and purchases




- Use and maintain custom-built workflow and customer-order systems
- Manage and update website products, descriptions, specifications, pricing and images
- Create and maintain accurate inventory listings across the website and selected third-party marketplaces

- A clear and professional written and verbal communicator
- Comfortable assisting customers with significant and emotional purchases
- Capable of taking ownership while knowing when to seek guidance
- Patient and persistent when working through unfamiliar systems or problems
- Interested in learning about diamonds, gemstones, jewellery design and manufacturing
