• Extensive experience caring for infants, ideally within private family households, is highly regarded
• Must hold a current passport and be comfortable with regular international travel, which is an important requirement of the role

Our warm, close-knit Bellevue Hill family is seeking an experienced and nurturing full-time nanny to provide dedicated care for their 7-month-old daughter and become a trusted, long-term part of their family.

Both parents are busy professionals and value a loving, happy and nurturing home environment. They are hands-on parents who appreciate open communication, reliability, discretion and initiative, while also wanting their nanny to feel trusted and confident working independently. This is primarily a sole-care role, with Mum working from home three days per week but the nanny maintaining primary responsibility for their daughter throughout the day.

The role will involve managing her daily routines, including bottles and feeding, nappies, naps and nutritious meals as she progresses with solids, alongside plenty of developmental play, reading, singing, walks, library visits, classes and outings. The family would particularly value someone with a robust understanding of child development who can proactively suggest age-appropriate activities and experiences. They are drawn to a Montessori-inspired approach that encourages curiosity, confidence and independence through calm and consistent guidance.

The nanny will also assist with child-related household duties, including laundry, bedding and keeping their daughter’s belongings and play spaces clean, tidy and organised.





An important part of this role is regular international travel, with the family typically travelling every one to two months to destinations including the US and Europe. Their nanny must genuinely enjoy travelling, be comfortable being away from Sydney for extended periods and offer flexibility around hours while travelling, including living in with the family when required.

Above all, the family is looking for someone warm, grounded, emotionally mature and genuinely passionate about children - a nanny who can bring both calm and fun to their daughter’s life through play, exploration, singing and laughter, while also providing comfort and security when needed. Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:
• Providing attentive, nurturing and developmentally focused sole care for a 7-month-old baby
• Managing bottles, feeding, nappies, naps and daily routines
• Preparing nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks as solids progress
• Planning engaging developmental play, reading, music and sensory experiences
• Organising walks, library visits, classes, activities and age-appropriate outings
• Proactively researching new activities and experiences as the child develops
• Supporting confidence, curiosity and age-appropriate independence
• Children’s laundry, bedding and maintaining clean and organised child-related spaces




• Driving to activities, appointments and outings using the family vehicle
• Maintaining excellent safety awareness, particularly around water
• Travelling internationally with the family regularly, including extended trips
• Providing occasional evening care and flexibility around additional or rearranged hours
• Maintaining open, respectful communication with both parents
• Respecting the family’s privacy, values and professional boundaries

• Strong and confident swimming ability
• Ability and genuine willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
