About the business and the role

We are a major Ampol fuel retailer servicing customers from the Hobart region and travellers passing by. We have a large amount of local account customers, and also sell retail fuel to the general public. We are a very busy site. There is currently an prospect for an additional staff member to join our organization. The job is casual only for an estimated at around 18-21 hrs a week on average.

Job tasks and responsibilities

As a console operator at this site, you will be responsible for running the shift. Your duties will include monitoring customers on the driveway, customer service and sales on register.

Further you will work with a small team of staff to achieve the goals of the business. You will also be responsible for the minor ordering of some stock, and also for the replenishment of stock during your shift.

Skills and experience

Previous service station experience is desired, however full training is supplied, so anyone with a proven background in excellent retail service will also be given consideration.





You will need your own reliable transport as the hours vary from week to week and the span of working hours does not fall within normal public transport timetables. You should provide evidence of your ability to work at varied hours ranging from 7.00am until 8.00pm including weekends, and provide evidence of your ability in relation to reliable transport. Attach photo ID where you have a copy available.
