The position offers a salary package of up to $400,000 plus a DMS managerial allowance, together with relocation and settlement support.
The Opportunity Working closely with the General Manager, Director of Nursing and broader executive leadership team, you will provide senior medical leadership and professional oversight across medical services and the medical workforce.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing strategic and operational leadership across medical services.
- Supporting medical workforce planning, recruitment, credentialing and performance.
- Influencing the future direction and delivery of clinical services.
- Promoting strong clinical governance, patient safety and continuous improvement.
- Building a positive, accountable and inclusive medical workforce culture.
- Supporting medical leaders and empowering clinical teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Contributing to the planning and implementation of the major hospital redevelopment.
- Working collaboratively with senior nursing, allied health and operational leaders.




- Building strong relationships with clinicians, executives and external stakeholders.
- Contributing to broader medical workforce and healthcare strategy across the organisation.

You will be supported by an experienced network of 11 Directors of Medical Services across one of New South Wales' largest public health organisations, providing a strong peer network and opportunities for collaboration and shared learning.
