About the role

Reyno MC is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our growing team in Sydney, NSW. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work on diverse carpentry projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You must be willing to travel and will be responsible for delivering high-quality craftsmanship on residential and commercial carpentry work, utilising both traditional and modern techniques. This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and precision in the carpentry and cabinet-making industry.

What you'll be doing

- Measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling timber and other materials to construct or repair structures, furniture and fittings

- Reading and interpreting detailed plans, drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed to precise standards

- Installing doors, windows, stairs, shelving and other structural elements with attention to detail

- Producing custom cabinetry and bespoke woodwork solutions tailored to client specifications

- Preparing surfaces and finishing timber work using appropriate treatments, stains and varnishes

- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to achieve professional results

- Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations and quality standards

- Collaborating with other tradespeople, designers and site supervisors to deliver projects on time





- Maintaining work areas in a clean and organised manner and managing tools and materials responsibly

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a qualified Carpenter with a minimum of 3-5 years in residential or commercial carpentry and cabinet-making

- Valid carpentry qualifications or apprenticeship completion recognised in New South Wales

- Proficiency with both hand tools and contemporary power tools, including circular saws, table saws, sanders and nail guns

- Strong understanding of timber types, joinery techniques and finishing methods

- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings and specifications accurately

- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality, precision work

- Sound knowledge of building codes and safety regulations relevant to the carpentry industry

- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to varying project requirements

- Reliable, professional and punctual with excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to job sites across the Sydney region

- Experience in cabinet-making or bespoke joinery is highly desirable
