The Chance

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources within the Firm. This is a part-time role requiring 2 or 3 days per week on-site and would suit an experienced HR Generalist looking to take ownership of the HR function in a small boutique legal environment.

Key responsibilities

- Working with senior lawyers and business services law firm experts, you will build trust-based client relationships and deliver exceptional human resources solutions

- Lead and manage the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding

- Advise on and manage employee relations matters and performance issues





- Ensure compliance with employment laws and workplace policies

- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures

- Support workplace culture

About you

With relevant HR qualifications, you will bring a hands-on approach to HR, with the ability to operate independently and confidently within a professional services environment

Proven experience in a generalist HR role across recruitment, employee relations and performance management

Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships

Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment will be well regarded
