Dirk’s has landed in Brisbane, and we’re only getting started.

Following the launch of our first store at Buranda Village, our founding Store Manager is transitioning to lead the opening of our next location at South Bank.

We’re now looking for an exceptional Store Manager to take ownership of Buranda, build on the foundations already in place, and drive the team and store performance to the next level.

Dirk’s is a new Australian fast-casual brand built around big flavour, proper food, cheeky energy and a love of dogs. We’re here to make fast food better: better bites, better vibes and better for dogs.

This is your chance to lead an established store while Dirk’s is still early enough for you to genuinely shape what comes next.

The opportunity

This is not a role for someone who simply wants to maintain the status quo.

You’ll inherit a newly established store, a trained team, clear brand foundations and the support of an experienced Operations Manager and leadership team.

Your role is to sharpen the operating rhythm, lift commercial performance, strengthen the culture, develop the next generation of leaders and help make Buranda the benchmark for every future Dirk’s store.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

The role

As Store Manager, you’ll own the day-to-day performance of Dirk’s Buranda Village.

You’ll lead from the floor during key trading periods, but you’ll also make sure the store runs well beyond any one shift. That means building strong leaders, establishing effective routines, understanding the numbers and taking action when performance or standards slip.

You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and broader leadership team, sharing practical store learnings and helping strengthen the model as Dirk’s grows.

What you’ll own

- Lead,



coach and develop the Buranda store team

- Set clear expectations around performance, accountability and the PACK culture

- Drive sales growth, customer frequency and local awareness

- Manage labour, rostering, productivity, stock, ordering and waste

- Maintain strong product quality, speed, accuracy and presentation

- Bring our HHH service model to life: Hello, Hustle, Heart

- Deliver a warm, energetic and memorable customer experience

- Develop Shift Leaders and future store management talent

- Maintain food safety, workplace safety and compliance standards

- Support local store marketing, promotions and community partnerships

- Use reporting and customer feedback to identify opportunities and act quickly

- Help refine systems and best practice for future Dirk’s stores

- Strong control of labour, stock and waste

About you

You may already be a Store Manager or Restaurant Manager in QSR, fast-casual, hospitality or high-volume food retail.

You could also be an exceptional Assistant Manager who is ready to take full ownership of a store.

You know how to run a solid shift, but you also understand that the real job is building a team and operating system that performs consistently when you are not standing beside it.

You will ideally bring:

- Store or restaurant leadership experience in a fast-paced environment

- Strong commercial awareness across sales, labour, stock and waste

- Confidence reading numbers and turning them into action





- Experience coaching and developing a young team

- Strong rostering and workforce planning capability

- High food safety, cleanliness and operational standards

- The ability to improve performance without killing team culture

- A genuine interest in building future leaders

Availability

This is a full-time Store Manager role operating across a seven-day business.

The successful candidate will need the flexibility to work a rotating roster, including some evenings, weekends and public holidays, and to be present during the store’s key trading periods.
