About the role

As the Technical Support Specialist, you'll be the go-to person for helping customers solve technical problems and find the right security solutions. In this varied, hands-on role, you'll work directly with security installers and customers, solve real technical problems and see the products and solutions you're supporting every day. This is not a traditional IT helpdesk role.

Key responsibilities

- Tech support phone calls and use remote access tools to troubleshoot technical issues with CCTV, alarms, access control, intercoms and other products we sell.

- Help customers with product setup, configuration, networking and fault finding.

- Engage with customers at our front counter with a friendly and helpful attitude.

- Use your technical knowledge to recommend the right products and solutions for customer applications.

- Identify sales opportunities and help customers build complete solutions rather than simply selling individual products.

- Prepare accurate quotes tailored to customer requirements.

- Continue developing your product knowledge through supplier and internal technical training.

- Jump into warehouse tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

About you

- Knowledge of IP networks is essential for success in this role.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and a genuine interest in figuring out how things work.

- A passion for technology, gadgets and learning new systems.

- Good communication skills and confidence dealing directly with customers.





- A customer-focused mindset – you enjoy solving someone's problem, not simply answering their question.

- A commercial mindset and willingness to identify opportunities and recommend the right solution.

- This role is ideal for recent IT graduates with a hunger for learning or security installers with field experience and a desire to grow in the industry.

- Previous technical support experience is beneficial but not essential.
