Few construction practices in Australia can offer the calibre, complexity and national exposure available in this growing Projects Disputes team.

This is an opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading top-tier law firms and work alongside highly regarded Partners on some of the country’s most significant infrastructure, energy and resources projects.

The team is exceptionally busy, with a strong pipeline of active matters and continued growth. With approximately 12 lawyers currently across the practice, the team works nationally and shares resources across offices, giving you exposure to major projects and clients across the east coast.

While Brisbane is the immediate need, there is flexibility for the right candidate to be based in Sydney or another office Australia wide.

The Opportunity
This is sophisticated, high-quality disputes work with a strong level of autonomy. You’ll work across a combination of litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, advising clients throughout the lifecycle of major projects.

Your work will include matters involving major:

- Renewable energy projects
- Roads and transport infrastructure
- Rail projects
- Tunnels and major infrastructure
- Mining and resources projects

You’ll be involved in complex project disputes and claims, working closely with experienced Partners and having the opportunity to take genuine ownership of your matters and client relationships.

Who are we looking for?
The preference is for a Senior Associate, however strong Associates through to Special Counsel will be considered depending on experience.

You will ideally have:

- Robust experience in Projects, Construction or Infrastructure Disputes
- Experience across litigation, arbitration and/or ADR
- Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills




- A genuine interest in developing your practice and taking the next step in your career
