About My Heart Cardiology

My Heart Cardiology is a growing specialist cardiology group providing comprehensive cardiovascular care across metropolitan Melbourne and the Macedon Ranges.

We are looking for an energetic, commercially minded and highly personable Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to help drive the next phase of our growth.

Our referral network spans a broad geographic area, and we are particularly focused on expanding our presence across Melbourne and throughout the Macedon Ranges and surrounding communities. This role will therefore suit someone who enjoys being out in the community, meeting people and building relationships across different areas.

This is not simply a social media or content creation role. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting out into the community, building genuine professional relationships and turning marketing initiatives into measurable growth.

The Role

Working closely with our cardiologists, Practice Manager and administrative team, you will develop and execute marketing and business development initiatives across My Heart Cardiology.

A major focus will be developing and strengthening relationships with GP practices, healthcare professionals and other referral partners across metropolitan Melbourne, the Macedon Ranges and surrounding areas.

The role will involve regular travel between different areas and GP practices, so a willingness to work across a broad geographic catchment is important.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing MHC's marketing and business development strategy

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with GP clinics and other healthcare referrers across Melbourne and the Macedon Ranges

- Regularly visiting GP practices across our target catchments to introduce MHC, our cardiologists and our services

- Identifying new geographic areas, referral opportunities and opportunities for practice growth

- Promoting MHC's clinical services and referral pathways

- Organising GP education events,



seminars, networking activities and practice visits

- Developing targeted campaigns for current and existing MHC services

- Planning, creating and managing engaging social media content across MHC's platforms, including educational, promotional and brand-building content

- Coordinating digital marketing, email campaigns and website content

- Developing high-quality marketing materials for patients, GPs and healthcare professionals

- Working with external suppliers, designers and other marketing partners where required

- Tracking referral patterns, campaign performance and return on marketing investment

- Providing regular reports on marketing activity, new referral sources and measurable growth

- Helping ensure the MHC brand is represented consistently and professionally across all channels

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident, polished, proactive and comfortable representing a specialist medical practice in front of healthcare professionals.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in marketing, business development, healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device or professional services

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Confidence approaching and meeting GP clinics and other healthcare professionals

- A willingness to travel regularly across metropolitan Melbourne and the Macedon Ranges

- A valid driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle

- A commercial mindset and an understanding that successful marketing should produce measurable results

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently

- Experience with digital marketing, social media, email campaigns and content development





- The ability to analyse data and assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives

- A high standard of personal presentation and professionalism

- A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, business, communications or a related field

An MBA or postgraduate qualification in business or marketing is highly regarded but not essential.

Experience within healthcare is advantageous, but we are equally interested in exceptional candidates from other industries who can demonstrate strong business development and relationship-building capability.
