Fast and Curious Early Learning Centre – Kingswood

We are seeking a warm, reliable and experienced cook to join our friendly team at Fast and Curious Early Learning Centre in Kingswood.

About the role

This is a permanent part-time position working Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–2:30 pm, totalling 35 paid hours per week.

You will prepare fresh, nutritious and appealing meals and snacks for children aged six weeks to six years while managing the day-to-day operation of the centre kitchen.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and snack each day.

- Plan and maintain nutritious, child-friendly menus.

- Manage allergies, intolerances and individual dietary and cultural requirements.

- Order food and maintain appropriate stock levels.

- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.

- Complete food-safety records and temperature checks.

- Work collaboratively with educators and centre management.

About you





- Previous experience cooking in a childcare centre or similar setting.

- Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate.

- Current NSW Working with Children Check.

- Experience preparing meals in bulk.

- Sound knowledge of food safety, allergies and dietary requirements.

- Strong organisation and time-management skills.

- A reliable, warm and team-focused approach.

A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care would be highly regarded but is not essential.
