We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Consultant to join our team at the La-Z-Boy retail store in Birtinya Sunshine Coast, QLD. As a full-time Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales of our premium furniture products.
Role is 5 days, 38hrs per week Wednesday to Sunday.
What you'll be doing
- Provide exceptional customer service and guide customers through the sales process
- Demonstrate and showcase our furniture products to customers, highlighting their features and benefits
- Actively listen to customer needs and preferences to recommend the most suitable solutions
- Process sales transactions and ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, well-organised and visually appealing retail environment
- Support the team in achieving sales targets and store objectives
- Participate in ongoing product and sales training to enhance your expertise
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role, preferably in the furniture or home furnishings industry
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with customers
- Strong product knowledge and a passion for providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work part time hours, including weekends
- Demonstrated sales skills and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
