We have two Social Worker positions available and are seeking compassionate, qualified and dedicated individuals to join our amazing school community.

In these roles, you will work collaboratively with students, families, school staff and community services to provide support, identify needs and develop strategies that promote positive wellbeing, engagement and educational outcomes for our students and families.

Your opportunity:

As the Social Worker, you will:

- Operate in an advisory and advocacy capacity providing services specific to the social work discipline.
- Respond to the needs of the student population and school community to provide personal and family counselling, therapy and group work, facilitation of referrals to other allied health professionals, and service and care coordination for the purpose of assisting student's wellbeing and mental health.





Responsibilities:

- Provide counselling, assessments and support to students, families and carers.
- Identify needs and coordinate referrals to appropriate community services.
- Build positive relationships between the school, families and community.
- Develop and deliver programs supporting student wellbeing and engagement.
- Monitor and evaluate support programs and outcomes.
- Support critical incidents and emergencies.
- Maintain confidential records and reports.
- Work collaboratively with school, community and multidisciplinary teams.
