The Opportunity
The Warehouse Officer provides stores/warehouse, procurement and maintenance support role, for the Construction Trades and Defence & Agriculture programs and is focused on delivering qualified support of business objectives with a high degree of customer focus. The Warehouse Officer works under limited supervision of their line manager the Materials Handling Manager and interacts with other team members, suppliers, educational staff, students, industry representatives, other Agencies and members of the general public.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience delivering customer-focused warehouse, stores, procurement and maintenance support, including maintaining stock levels, reordering, cycle counts and stocktakes.
- Ability to support safe, efficient warehouse operations in line with WHS requirements, including safe use of equipment and materials such as forklifts, reach trucks and other workshop or site equipment.
- Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills, with experience managing fluctuating workloads, supporting diverse customers and using systems such as WMS, Office 365, Excel and Word.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
A valid Forklift and Car Drivers Licence is also required for the role.
