DRD Group is currently seeking a Structural Engineer with 3-5 years of commercial structural engineering experience who is looking to take the next step into the mining and resources sector.

This is an excellent chance to join a leading project delivery team working on major mining infrastructure project in Western Australia.

About the Role
Reporting to the Project Engineering team, you will provide structural engineering support across a major mining project, including structural steel, concrete, and non-process infrastructure assets.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assess and define project scopes, risks, constructability requirements, and delivery strategies
- Develop scopes of work, tender documentation, and technical deliverables
- Coordinate engineering and design activities to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage technical interfaces and stakeholder requirements throughout project execution
- Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and compliance against project requirements
- Support contract administration including variations, claims, forecasting, and reporting
- Engage with operational teams, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to achieve project outcomes
- Support commissioning, handover, and project close-out activities

About You
To be successful you will possess:





- Bachelor of Structural or Civil Engineering
- 3-5 years' structural engineering experience
- Commercial buildings, industrial, or infrastructure project experience
- Sound understanding of building practices and construction methodologies
- Experience delivering projects through the complete project lifecycle
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
