Be part of something new!
Help shape the culture, build the team and make your mark from the very beginning.
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Assistant Director to join a brand-new early learning service opening soon in the Stirling area.
Rather than stepping into an established service and simply following what has always been done, you’ll have the opportunity to be there from the beginning – helping establish a positive team culture, supporting educators and working collaboratively with a strong senior leadership team.
And this isn’t your typical Assistant Director position. You’ll be full-time off the floor, working alongside a supportive Centre Manager and a dedicated Pedagogical Leader – creating a genuine three-person senior leadership team with the time and support to lead well.
What makes this opportunity different?
- Full-time off-the-floor Assistant Director position
- Be part of a brand-new service from the beginning
- Work alongside a supportive Centre Manager and dedicated Pedagogical Leader
- Genuine three-person senior leadership structure
- Wellbeing days supporting work-life balance
- Team events, celebrations and recognition
- Ongoing leadership training and professional development
- Support from an experienced senior and operational leadership team
- Genuine opportunities for continued career growth
Your role As Assistant Director, you’ll play an important part in establishing the service and creating an environment where educators feel supported, families feel welcomed and children can thrive.
Working closely with the Centre Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the service, mentor and guide educators,
build robust relationships with families and contribute to the ongoing quality and success of the service.
We’re particularly looking for a genuine team player – someone approachable, collaborative and passionate about bringing people together and creating a positive workplace culture.
What you’ll bring
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Previous Assistant Director, 2IC or leadership experience
- Strong understanding of the NQF, NQS and EYLF
- Current relevant Working With Children Check/screening
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative and supportive approach to leadership
A package that recognises what you bring A competitive salary, negotiable for the right team player, with the additional retention grant paid on top.
Alongside the remuneration, you’ll enjoy wellbeing days, ongoing leadership development, team events and recognition, and importantly, a leadership structure designed to provide genuine support.
Could this be your next chapter? If the opportunity to help shape a brand-new service and work within a genuinely supportive leadership team sounds like the right next step, we’d love to hear from you.
