About the role

Working closely with our management team, you will help ensure the daily cleaning operation runs efficiently and our properties are guest-ready within the required timeframes. This is a supervisory role with a hands-on component. While your primary responsibility will be overseeing the cleaning operation, you will also be expected to assist with cleaning when required, particularly during busy periods, staff shortages or when a property needs an extra set of hands.

Key responsibilities

- Supervising and supporting our cleaning team
- Coordinating daily cleaning schedules and allocating properties
- Monitoring progress throughout the day and ensuring properties are completed on time
- Carrying out quality-control inspections of completed properties
- Providing guidance, training and constructive feedback to cleaners
- Helping maintain consistent cleaning and presentation standards across all properties
- Identifying maintenance, damage, missing items or other property issues and reporting them promptly
- Monitoring cleaning supplies, linen and equipment
- Communicating with management regarding property readiness and any issues
- Assisting with cleaning when required,



including stepping in when the team is short-staffed or additional support is needed

About you

- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, accommodation or a similar environment
- Previous supervisory, team leader or coordination experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to prioritise and keep a team on track during busy periods
- Good communication skills and the confidence to provide explicit, respectful direction
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities
- A genuine commitment to maintaining high cleaning and presentation standards
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
