About the role

This is a part time Break Cover Educator position, working approximately 15 hours per week across three days. There is flexibility around the working days, which can be discussed with the successful candidate. As part of our educator team, you will support the daily operation of the centre while helping to maintain a warm, safe and engaging environment for our children.

Key responsibilities

- Provide break coverage for educators across different rooms and age groups
- Build warm and respectful relationships with children
- Support children's learning through play, exploration and everyday experiences
- Work collaboratively with educators and the wider centre team
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment
- Support routines, supervision and the day-to-day needs of children
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture

About you

- A completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an approved equivalent qualification
- Ideally at least 12 months of experience working in an early childhood education and care environment
- A current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
- National Child Safety Training
- Mandatory Reporting Training




- A good understanding of child safety and early childhood education requirements
- A positive, flexible and collaborative approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
