Part-Time Family Assistant / Nanny – Hunters Hill

2:00pm – 7:00pm approx
20 hours per week
Start: Mid-October 2026
Rate: $40 per hour
Employment: Employee or ABN/contractor arrangement considered

A lovely family in Hunters Hill is looking for an experienced Family Assistant / Nanny to provide afternoon support four days per week. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, is confident in managing afternoon routines and takes pride in being organised, reliable and helpful around the home. The job is part housekeeping, part nanny.

Job description;

- Supporting the children through their afternoon routine

- Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children

- Helping with homework, reading, activities and play

- Taking the children to afternoon activities or appointments as required

- Keeping the home neat and tidy

- Laundry and general organisation as required

- Helping with the evening routine and preparing the children for dinner





- Assisting with other household tasks to help the family keep things running smoothly

- The family have a weekly cleaner

Candidate requirements:

- Experienced working with children and families

- Some Housekeeping experience

- Current clear police check

- WWC and current First Aid

- Drivers licence preferred

- Mature, reliable and responsible

- Warm, caring and engaging with children

- Organised and proactive

- Confident managing afternoon routines independently

- Happy to prepare simple children's meals

The family are looking for someone who is interested in a long-term position and would love to become a valued part of the family. The family is relocating to Bellevue Hill towards the end of next year, with the intention of continuing the arrangement following the move.
