About the role

East Pilbara Earthmoving is seeking various experienced Mobile Plant Operators to join our team. This role is based in Nullagine, WA 6758 and offers the opportunity to work in the mining and resources sector, specifically within mining operations. As a Mobile Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment in a fast-paced mining workplace. This position is essential to ensuring efficient site preparation, material movement, and ground levelling activities that support our clients' operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

- Operate D8 dozers, Graders and 40T Diggers safely and efficiently to move, grade, and level earth and materials on site. Trimble and GPS machine control experience highly regarded

- Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections to identify maintenance issues and report defects

- Follow all site safety protocols, procedures, and environmental regulations

- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, other operators, and relevant personnel regarding site conditions and operational updates

- Assist in site preparation, including clearing, stripping, and material stockpiling activities

- Operate equipment in varying weather conditions and challenging terrain typical of mining operations

- Contribute to maintaining a safe and productive work environment

What we're looking for

- Proven experience operating heavy earthmoving equipment in mining or construction environments

- Strong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to working safely on site

- Valid driver's licence

- Australian Operating Tickets





- National Police Clearance (Recent of 3 months or willing to obtain a new one)

- Full Australian Working Rights

- Construction Card

- Able to pass Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for equipment maintenance

- Physical fitness to handle the demands of operating heavy machinery and working in remote locations

- Experience in the mining sector is highly desirable

- Two and one roster day shift night shift out of Perth
