Zimt Patisserie is looking for an energetic, experienced and people-focused hospitality skilled to join us as a full-time Supervisor / Assistant Manager. This hands-on leadership role suits someone who enjoys excellent customer service, supporting a busy team and helping a well-loved local patisserie run smoothly each day. In this role, you will help lead the daily flow of our front-of-house team, guiding team members, supporting smooth service, communicating clearly across the business and creating a welcoming experience for every customer.
Key responsibilities
- Barista work and till operation
- Food and table service
- Cake orders management
- Rostering and team supervision
- Supplier communication
- General support across all front-of-house areas
- Leading the daily flow of the front-of-house team
- Guiding team members and supporting smooth service
- Communicating clearly across the business
- Maintaining high standards and established systems
About you
- At least 6 months' experience as a Supervisor, Assistant Manager or similar hospitality leader
- A genuine passion for hospitality, customer service and working as part of a team
- Friendly, confident and able to build rapport with regular customers
- Able to work independently, stay organised and keep pace in a busy café environment
- Well presented, well-spoken and attentive to detail
- A good understanding of hospitality operations, with the ability to adapt as service needs change
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage your own workload while supporting the front-of-house team
